Job Description:
Facilitate communication among stakeholders regarding natural resource science and management in the Rainwater Basins ecoregion of Nebraska. Help Identify and implement priority research and monitoring efforts with the goal of developing management tools that will improve the management of Rainwater Basin wetlands and the Rainwater Basin landscape. Coordinate and facilitate activities of the Rainwater Basin Joint Venture and committees thereof. Occasional evening & weekend hours; some overnight travel. Salary: Minimum $38,000/annually

Qualifications:
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in biology, wildlife, ecology, energy, or combination of, plus five years experience in biology, ecology, or related field required. Knowledge of landscape ecology, waterfowl ecology, and geographic information systems essential. Prioritization, organizational and facilitation skills; excellent communication skills; and ability to related to a variety of constituents necessary.
Preferred Qualifications
Prefer: (1) Master's degree in biology, wildlife, ecology, energy, or combination of; (2) three years post-educational experience; (3) skill/experience developing grant proposals; (4) skill/experience in making presentations to scientific and non-scientific audiences; (5) ability to manage databases; (6) knowledge of GIS modeling, GIS analysis and statistical modeling; and (7) knowledge of web design/management.
