Institutions participating as Local hosts were directly involved in the organization of the IV North American Ornithological Conference held in the City of Veracruz from 3-7 October 2006. These institutions provided an array of logistical and in-kind support and allocated personnel to work with the co-chairs of the Local Committee in various organization tasks.
