Ornithological societies, not-for-profit organizations, and government agencies could become sponsors of the IV NAOC 2006 by making a cash donation (US$1000 or more for those based in the US and Canada; US$500 (or equivalent) or more for those based in Latin America) or an in-kind donation of the same value. Sponsors received one table in the vendor area for displays and distribution of literature.
Sponsorship of the IV NAOC 2006 by for-profit corporations was encouraged to help reduce registration fees for all students and for Latin American professionals.
